Youth-led fundraiser
On Sunday, March 14, the children and youth of Saint Philip’s kicked off their “Coins of Kindness” fundraiser.
What is it?
The children and youth of Saint Philip’s are fundraising for two $800 scholarships for the Diocesan Summer Mission Trip to the Navajo Nation, June 28-July 3, 2026.
Additional funds raised will be contributed toward Saint Philip’s Outreach ministries and campus projects. Exactly which ministries and projects will be decided soon by the children and youth.
Over the next several weeks, the youth and families of CYFM will learn about different ministries and projects and how they can help.
How can you participate?
The Coins of Kindness Fundraiser asks parishioners and friends to take a jar, find spare change, and add it to the jar. Or pop in cash or a check! A few additional jars are available in the church office.
Why fundraise this way?
This fundraiser is inspired by the many, many small donations that funded the base of the Statue of Liberty when other donations dried up. In the spirit of small changes and actions have big results, the children and youth of Saint Philip’s are asking for small contributions that will have big impacts on our communities.
How do I return my jar?
Please return jars by Sunday, May 17, 2026.
- On Sundays, jars can be returned to the Little Shop between 9:00am-12:00pm
- Monday-Thursday, jars can be dropped off in the office between 9:00am-5:00pm
- Or bring your jar Sunday, May 17, 2026 for the in-gathering
Please include your name when you return your jar. Thank you for your support!
