Holy Eucharist Rite I

7:45am

Rite I uses the traditional language that most closely adheres to the patterns of prayer that have shaped Christians generation to generation.

Choral Eucharist Rite II

10:00am (also live-streamed)

Rite II uses more modern language adopted in 1979.

American Sign Language interpretation is available every week at the front left-hand side of the church.

A “soft space” is located on the left side of the church when looking toward the front altar. This area has books, toys, and manipulatives to help engage the youngest members of our community in worship (when they aren’t in nursery).

The nursery (with trained attendants) is available 9:30am-12:30pm.

On most Sundays after the 10:00am service (September-May), children ages 2.5-12th graders meet for an hour in age defined groups. Parents and caregivers with children at home meet for an hour, as well. Click here for details.

Visitors and newcomers, as well as long-time parishioners, are invited to stop by the blue umbrella (located wherever coffee hour is). Staff can answer questions about the parish and provide information about different events and ministries. Saint Philip’s is large enough that it’s helpful to have someone provide a roadmap or connect you directly with people involved with an activity you might want to explore.

Come & See

4:00pm

This is an alternative service offered since 2005 for those who may have difficulty with the language used in traditional worship. Each week a short reflection is offered by a member of the community, and is followed by a discussion and communal sharing of bread and wine. It is held in Saint Anne’s Center.

Choral Evensong

4:30pm

This service takes the form of sung prayers, psalms, and the traditional evening canticles—the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis—along with a hymn and anthem. The service is full of meditative moments, and is a perfect way to begin or end a week.
