The youth of Saint Philip’s will kick off the Coins of Kindness campaign this Sunday, March 8.

Based on the efforts to raise money for the pedestal for the Statue of Liberty, each member of the congregation will be asked to take a pint jar (handed out on Sunday, March 8 after services) to fill with coins, cash, or checks, and bring them back in May (specific date to be announced).

Each jar can hold an estimated $60.00-$90.00 worth of coins.

The money will be used in part to support scholarships for the youth mission trip to the Navajo Nation this Summer. The rest of the donations will support funding a project on campus that the youth will select. They are excited for this effort and invite everyone to join them.
