Thank you!
“And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
—Hebrews 10:24-25

There is something stirring and empowering when we join together to raise money for a project, especially when it’s for the support and growth of youth in our community! It evokes the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, who encourages us to “provoke one another to love and good deeds!”
Over the last two Sundays we did just that.
Becky Friesen and Kate Appell organized our annual Christmas Wreath & Bake Sale to raise funds for the 2027 UK Residency and Pilgrimage. Many of our amazing families contributed to this fundraiser by baking delicious treats to be sold, or volunteered at the booth handling sales and chatting with curious parishioners.
Thanks to the support and help from so many people, our current numbers indicate that we have raised $1,765.90 towards the 2027 UK Residency and Pilgrimage for our youth! WOW!
Approximately $1,207.30 of that amount is from wreath sales, and $558.60 from the bake sale.
To all who contributed, by baking, by volunteering, and by purchasing, the Children, Youth, and Family Ministry team says THANK YOU!!!!
Yours in Christ,
—Fr Alex
