On Sunday, November 30, volunteers gathered in La Parroquia to wrap gifts for the Angel Tree Christmas party this Sunday, December 7. The event was captured by KGUN9 news.

The news segment highlighted the important work of Project Angel Tree which is to deliver Christmas gifts to children on behalf of an incarcerated parent or family member. This helps children feel loved and remembered during the holiday season.

The initiative has seen remarkable growth. Saint Philip’s Angel Tree Project last year supported 41 children. This year, 79 children will receive gifts and attend the party.
