Roofing project continues

Saint Philip’s has initiated a roofing replacement project, focusing on historically designated areas of the campus. This project is being undertaken by Means Construction and is partially funded through the generous support of Preservation and Endowment (P&E).

Work has commenced in the Chapel of the Nativity, as evidenced in the accompanying photo. To ensure the safety of the valuable pieces within the Saint Philip’s Sacred Art Collection, they have been temporarily relocated.

A special thank you to the Sacred Arts Committee (especially Kevin Justus); Fr Matthew; part-time sexton, Maria Gutierrez; and, Bill Donges for their diligent efforts in safely moving the art and chairs!

Groups that met in the Chapel of the Nativity—like Joyful Noise and the weekday worship services—have moved into the main sanctuary.
