Saint Philip’s regularly supports the Primavera Men’s Shelter by preparing a meal for approximately 50 men every third Sunday.

Easter falls on the third Sunday this month, so the meal will be prepared on Saturday, April 19. A few more volunteers are needed.

This outreach ministry expanded last month, and individuals can now sign up to serve meals directly at the Primavera Men’s Shelter. The next opportunity to serve is Monday, April 21.

Deacon Susan Erickson, the organizer of this volunteer effort, emphasizes the importance of this work, stating, “Seeing the large number of individuals who need Primavera’s services at the Resource Center truly highlights the significance of this ministry.”
