Open for business again

The “new” Little Shop will open its doors again this Sunday, August 4. Come see the new space—which is just next door to where it was before.

The Little Shop moved to create an additional meeting space called the Saint James room. (A photo and more information about that will be in next week’s Bell & Tower.)

Business hours are 9:00am-12:00pm every Sunday. Stop in for greeting cards, gifts, and an eclectic array of other items.

You can also purchase manna bags. These are ziploc bags that contain fruit juice, a granola bar, crackers, vienna sausages, peanut butter, apple sauce, bottled water, utensils, and a napkin.

You can keep manna bags in your car and hand them to people at intersections or whenever you’re approached by someone who is hungry.

The bags are $3.00 each and all sale proceeds benefit Saint Philip’s food pantry.

August Featured Artist

Every month, a local artist is invited to sell their handmade objects in The Little Shop. Artists donate a percentage of their proceeds to Saint Philip’s.

Pop in the store each week before or after worship services to see what gifts you find—for yourself or others.

August will feature needlepoint creations by Anne Brinkley.

A bit about Anne

Anne started counted cross-stitch in 1978. She eventually created her company, Anne Brinkley Designs, which sold wholesale designs for cross-stitch and needlepoint to stores and catalogues across the country. Anne is selling her company but still enjoys creating individual items for friends and family.
