What is diocesan convention?
A diocesan convention is a time when the people of the diocese gather. While it is a business meeting with important work to be done, the convention is, first and foremost, a time for the people of God to gather together in prayer, worship, and study.

What do delegates do?
The delegate’s role is to provide a link between the congregation and the diocese and report to the congregation about events, actions, and decisions that occur at convention.

Delegates have voting rights at convention. In order to serve as a delegate, the person must be a confirmed communicant in good standing and be at least 16 years old.
