Join in singing

Have you heard about Joyful Noise at Saint Philip’s? This worship service takes place at 3:00pm every Saturday in the Chapel just off the main Sanctuary. Several attendees have shared their positive experiences and encourage you to join them!

“I have loved gospel church hymns all my life, and it is a joy to sing them. Our gathering gives a sense of peace, wonder, and gratitude that stays with me into the week.”
—Sharon Hunter

“There are many things I enjoy about the service. It is often my service for the week. I originally came for the music but have loved the liturgy, as well. Each week I especially look forward to sharing the Lord’s Supper. The intimacy of the setting is also a plus.”
—Linda Snider

“I enjoy the Eucharist in our Saturday service and I also like that you involve the participants in the scripture reading and the prayers.”
—Morgan Hunter

“Our Joyful Noise service is a heartfelt gathering of inspiring music and deep reflections. It’s an intimate celebration of our faith together, renewing our spirits and strengthening our connections.”
—Robert Encila, (Musician & vocal soloist)

“I got involved to support a service with inclusive language in the liturgy. Besides the joy that it brings, I love the enthusiastic singing of participants!”
—Mtr Paula Datsko+ (Facilitator)

“We are having fun, inspired by the Spirit, and fed by the word & sacrament. I like that people can share their thoughts in the brief reflection time. And these folks can sing!”
—Fr Allen Breckenridge+ (Facilitator)
