Historic Murphey tile
If you have visited Saint Philip’s campus recently, you’re aware of the extensive roofing project.
Part of this project involves removing the historic Murphey roof tiles so that the underlying roofing paper can be replaced. Each of these handmade tiles is a unique piece of the legacy of renowned architect, Josias Joesler.

Saint Philip’s would like to preserve these tiles, so is pleased to offer them to anyone who would like to use them for repairs or additions to their historic home. While the tiles are free, donations to Saint Philip’s Preservation & Endowment are welcome. (This is the entity that helps care for the historic portions of Saint Philip’s campus.)
If you are interested in some or all of these tiles, please email Eric Means at eric@caminoescuela.com by Friday, March 14, for more information.
