Flute concert
The Tucson Flute Club will present its spring concert, “Nature’s Stories,” at 7:30pm this evening, Friday, March 13, in the sanctuary. All are invited!
Programmatic music will explore nature and the stories it tells. Each piece will paint an image of the natural world.
Particularly noteworthy are For Love of Swans, written in memory of Tucson Flute Club’s founder Philip Swanson, and Southwestern Sketches, which was written for Tucson Flute Club and premiered on its 50 Anniversary concert in 2020.
Jack Schmidgall, Music Director, will conduct the group. Admission is free, but donations will be appreciated.
