Final meeting
The Antiracism Discussion Group has met viz Zoom every Sunday at 1:00pm since July 2020. This coming Sunday, May 11, it will finish discussing its final book, How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi—and the group’s time together will come to an end.
Over the past five years, group members have learned many things about the history of racism in this country and individual roles in perpetuating it.
Participants have read and discussed approximately 20 books about African-Americans, indigenous peoples, immigrants, Asians, and white Christian nationalism.
Over the summer, there might be conversation about creating another discussion group on other topics. If you are interested, please talk with Fr Robert, Fr Henry, or Deacon Leah.
