Congratulations!

Congratulations to Sharon Bigot for winning first place in the Small-Scale Category (miniatures less than 1 inch = 1 foot) at the Tucson Miniature Society’s 2024 People’s Choice Awards last October!

Sharon’s winning piece, a 1/4″ = 1 foot scale Southwestern House, will be among the first-prize winners from all three categories—small scale, theme, and general—showcased at The Mini Time Machine Museum. This exhibit, August 5-October 26, 2025, will promote the upcoming Tucson Miniature Society’s 2025 October Show and Sale.

“I am thrilled to have my Southwestern House on public view,” Sharon shared. “I started with a Southwest Style miniature kit from Hart’s Desire, which included hundreds of laser-cut pieces that had to be sanded, painted, or wallpapered to complete the building and many of the furnishings. It took almost a year to complete the house, the furnishings, and the landscaping.”
