Meet the leaders:

Grant Bachaelder
My faith journey has been shaped by a love of thoughtful biblical exploration and finding community through worship and music. I sing as a lay clerk in the choir, and I’m pursuing a PhD in Higher Education, focusing on allyship, power, and gender, while also working in DEI education and training. In my free time, I enjoy film, television, reading, and spending time with my family—my wife, Jenni, and our sons, Freddie and Ambrose.

Nohemi Maciel
I joined St. Philip’s in February of 2023 and was formally Received in February of 2024. My faith has instilled in me a deep commitment to social justice and to living a life dedicated to helping others. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and work at an integrated pain clinic. In my free time, I love crafting, reading, and spending time with my cat.
