Tom Cross
October 9, 1935—September 19, 2024
Longtime parishioner Tom Cross died Thursday afternoon at Peppi’s House at Tucson Medical Center. He was 88 years old.
A service and reception are planned for Wednesday, October 9, at Saint Philip’s. (The 9th would have been Tom’s 89th birthday.)
O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered:
Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Tom,
and grant him an entrance into the land of light and joy,
in the fellowship of your saints;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen. —BCP

We are so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Beth and I served with Tom And Sue on the Parish Life Committee for many years. Tom was a great friend and a hard working member of St. Philip’s. Our condolences go out to Sue and the Cross family. May he rest in peace.

I appreciated Tom’s constant smile. He was a ‘can do’ leader of countless projects at St. Philips. He seemed first to volunteer, design a strategy for success, and attract others to join in. He and Sue were a wonderful team. I am fortunate to have known and been inspired by Tom’s life – well lived.
We are so sorry to hear about Tom, he was such a kind and gentle man and will be missed. How thoughts and prayers are with Sue as she grieves this wonderful man and partner, love to you Sue.
Tom was everywhere around the St.Philip’s campus with his smile & positive spirit. We shall sorely miss him. What a dear man. God bless him & Sue for her loss.
