CYFM kick-off events

By Mtr Beth Clarke

In the spirit of back-to-school, a pop quiz: Why are the numbers 30, 12, and 13 significant at Saint Philip’s?

Answer: They’re three big dates as we kick off a new year of Children, Youth, and Family Ministry: August 30, September 12, and September 13!

Whether you have children at home, volunteer with our young people, or simply want to support and celebrate this growing part of our parish life, we hope you’ll join us.

11:30am, Sunday, August 30: Formation Welcome Day
Come explore our Formation rooms, meet our leaders, and get a glimpse of what’s ahead for children, youth, and families this year.

8:00am, Saturday, September 12: Serve and Socialize—All are welcome!
Everyone is invited to join us for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona’s Hunger Walk! We’ll meet at 8:00am at Kino Sports Complex for a two-mile walk through the Food Bank warehouse, followed by a light breakfast, music, and family activities. And yes, we all get T-shirts! Register for our team.

11:30am, Sunday, September 13: Our First Formation Sunday!
Children, youth, and families will gather at 11:30am, after church, in the Children’s Courtyard and our Formation rooms as we begin a new year of learning, wondering, growing, and being formed together in faith.

Mark your calendars, bring your walking shoes, and help us kick off the fall at Saint Philip’s!
