Ingathering Sunday

Ingathering Sunday is only one week away and Saint Philip’s How Firm a Foundation Campaign is well under way. The church is grateful to all of you who have responded early and pledged for 2022.

Despite COVID-19 limitations the parish will celebrate Ingathering Sunday on November 7.  We are not able to celebrate as we would like and bring our pledges and promises of service forward in church. We would love to offer you cookies and cider and distribute “I pledged!” stickers for you to wear gladly. But until it’s safe to do those traditional things, we will rely on your generosity and thank you virtually.

Timing matters!  Add your names to the list of pledgers that will be printed in the December 3 issue of Bell & Tower. The Vestry meets before December 31 to approve a budget for the upcoming year. But unless the Finance Committee knows what income to expect (from pledges), it can’t make plans and recommend a budget to the Vestry.

There are two ways you can pledge: by clicking on the button below and visiting Saint Philip’s secure website, or by filling out the form you received in the mail. You can return it via snail mail or drop it in the collection plate if you worship on-site. And if you need a pledge form, you will find one in the church office on Sundays.  And don’t forget to have a look at the 2022 Ministry Opportunities on the other side of the page.

Let’s celebrate the fullness of our lives together at Saint Philip’s and look forward to the coming year with hope for a joyful fellowship reunion.

Thank you for your generosity of spirit,

—Bonnie Winn, Stewardship Chair
