All are invited to offer prayers for three individuals as they reach significant milestones in their theological education and ministry.

Seminarian updates 2 — Dcn Beth Clark (left) and Matti Bowen (right)

Elizabeth Clark
Deacon Beth Clark will graduate from Virginia Theological Seminary on May 7. She will join Saint Philip’s as an associate clergy on June 1.

Beth hails from Phoenix, and has an impressive background in education. She looks forward to joining Saint Philip’s team. More details will be shared closer to her start date.

Matti Bowen
Matti will finish their second year of seminary at Virginia Theological Seminary this spring. They will be spending the summer in Arizona focused on rural ministry.

Christopher Campbell
Chris will finish his parish placement at Christ Church in Westerly, RI, where he will officiate Evensong for the visitation of the Archbishop of York. In June, he will fly to the UK, where he will participate in his second parish placement. He will work with Mtr Natalie Davies (who spent a summer at Saint Philip’s in 2022) at St. Mary’s in Swanage and St Nicholas in Studland.

In October, Chris will go to Westcott House in Cambridge for the fall semester of his senior year.
