Eucharistic Visitors

Eucharistic Visitors (EVs) are trained members of the Church who extend the ministry of Holy Communion beyond the walls of the church. Following a celebration of the Eucharist, they take the consecrated bread and wine in a timely manner to members of the congregation who were unable to be present due to illness, infirmity, or other circumstances. In doing so, they help foster connections despite challenging circumstances. During the visit, along with the Sacrament, they offer prayer and a pastoral presence.

Lay Eucharistic Ministry is a visible reminder that those who cannot gather in person remain an essential part of the Body of Christ. If you are interested in and have a need for a Eucharistic Visitor to bring you Communion, please let us know. We do also bring the Sacrament to individuals as the need arises.
