Interment service

Robert (Bob) W. Stanton
January 20, 1935-December 15, 2022

All are invited to an interment service that will be held in Bob’s honor at 11:00am tomorrow, Saturday, January 21, in the columbarium garden.

Bob proudly served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and worked earnestly throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling and collecting Southwestern-themed art and playing the organ.

Those who knew Bob will remember him for his kindness, humility, gentle soul, warm smile, and his caring spirit. He had a special love for volunteering and provided pastoral care to parishioners of Saint Philip’s through hospital visits, bringing communion to those who were homebound, and assisted The Rev’d Jean Rogers at the Tuesday healing services.

Almighty and everliving God, give to your servant Bob rest in the land of the living and open for him the gates of paradise; receive him as a citizen of your Kingdom, and grant him forgiveness of his sins: for he was your friend. Amen.
