Neighborly help

For the second year in a row, 85718 resident, Donna Beck, and her neighborhood social committee organized a food drive to support Saint Philip’s food pantry. The drive was very successful and Donna and some friends delivered a massive amount of food to the pantry this week.

The effort originated when Donna approached her friends, Saint Philip’s members Tom and Marilyn Lindell, to ask how the neighborhood could support the parish. Tom and Marilyn told Donna about Saint Philip’s food pantry. After learning about the difference it makes, Donna engaged the 85718 social committee and voila—the neighborhood food drive began.

A very spirited “thank you!” to Donna, members of the 85718 social committee, Tom and Marilyn—and everyone who donated!
