Grief support group

Grief is about a broken heart. It is a journey, a natural response to loss, and while there are no right or wrong ways to grieve, there are well-worn paths through sorrow and pain towards healing and wholeness.

During our lives, we each experience loss—from the death of loved ones and friends, job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move. Maybe you know a more acute depth of loss because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future right now.

Beginning on Tuesday, October 12, Saint Philip’s grief support group will meet weekly at a new time 11:00am-12:00pm—just before the Tuesday Healing Eucharists—in the new Rector’s Lounge. All are welcome.

For more information and to sign-up, please contact Deacon Ruthie (ruthhooper08@comcast.net). She will then be in touch with further details.
