Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the first Monday of September annually. In 2021, the holiday falls on September 6.

Saint Philip’s will be closed that day. As such, Fr Robert’s “Meet the Rector” in the library will be canceled that week.

Labor Day celebrates the American labor movement and the contributions and achievements of the American worker. In the United States, Labor Day is the three-day weekend ending the summer season, whereas Memorial Day weekend starts the summer season.
