Thank you!
Dear friends,
I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for being a part of the recent celebrations of my 25 years at Saint Philip’s. The wonderful events organized on my behalf were heartwarming and reminded me how blessed Vicky and I are to be in the community of Saint Philip’s.
It was moving to read all the individual notes and messages on the choir card, the individual cards, and the giant Thank You card from the congregation. I am grateful to have been with many of you for life’s events and hope that the music offered has been an inspiration and a comfort wherever you may be in your journey.
It has been a privilege to serve several outstanding clergy and music directors during my time here. Perhaps my greatest joy has been to see many young choristers (including our son) grow and mature into the fine young people that they are, and I hope that singing and music continue to be a part of their lives.
I am grateful also to be allowed the opportunity to “curate” the restoration of our fine Holtkamp pipe organ, a project dear to my heart. It will surely sing God’s praises for generations to come!
It has also been an enormous privilege to join the Saint Nicholas and Schola choirs on our UK residencies and play these marvellous English cathedral organs! I look forward to our upcoming residency in July 2027 at Exeter Cathedral.
The past 25 years have passed in “the twinkling of an eye” and I look forward to being with you as we continue our journey together.
With gratitude,
—Jeffrey
