Do you feel called to answer Christ’s teaching that we must care for those going through a difficult time? Stephen Ministry is recruiting people interested in joining its next training class.

Since 2023, Saint Philip’s has trained 23 parishioners to serve as Stephen Ministers—joining more than 600,000 Christians nationally who have been trained from some 200 denominations

The training class will equip you with the skills to listen to those facing a life challenge, such as the death of a spouse, serious illness, unemployment, etc. Current Stephen Ministers have found that this ministry deepens their faith and has made a difference in the lives of parishioners they have served.

The training class will begin later this fall. For more information, please contact Stephen Leaders Bill Symonds or Deacon Anne Strong.
