Anibal Negash

After a two year experiment where the bookkeeper position was performed remotely by Shelby Parsons, the Executive Committee and Vestry determined it necessary to have the role carried out in-house. The parish invited Shelby to return to Arizona but she declined.

Saint Philip’s is pleased to introduce the parish’s new bookkeeper: Anibal Negash.

Anibal brings a wealth of experience to the role, including 20 years at the International Rescue Committee where he oversaw a $15 million budget. He has already instituted some helpful procedures, and is a wonderful addition to the team.

When not working, Anibal enjoys walking, listening to worship songs, and eating his favorite meal: an Ethiopian chicken dish.

Anibal is married to Konjit; their son just completed his first year at the University of Arizona.

You can reach Anibal at accounting@stphilipstucson.org or at 520-299-6421 ext. 127. (All staff information is available on the website—www.stphiliptucson.org—under the “Welcome” tab.)

Please stop by the offices 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday to meet and welcome Anibal.
