March featured artist

Every month, a local artist is invited to sell their handmade objects in The Little Shop. Artists donate a percentage of their proceeds to Saint Philip’s.

Pop in the store each week before or after worship services to see what gifts you find—for yourself or others.

March’s artist is parishioner, Jan Bacigalupo.

A bit about Jan
Jan considers herself fortunate to be a parishioner at Saint Philip’s in the Hills. She says it’s here that she finds spiritual and artistic inspiration. The architecture and artifacts are rich with historical significance and beauty.

Jan also loves to hike, birdwatch, and roam in the surrounding desert and mountains. Previously, as co-owner of Guided Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc, she became immersed in a vast landscape of pristine lakes, evergreens, maple, and birch—the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico Provincial Park of Ontario.

Jan finds that designing her cards is a way to preserve her moment in nature and to share them with others. She hopes they capture the spirit of both her Arizona and Northwoods wanderings.
