Deep listening
Following the 10:00am service on Sunday, March 22, all are invited to the Murphey Gallery for an experience in sharing with each other.
At tables of eight with a designated facilitator, people may share what is on their minds, what keeps them up at night, what concerns they have for their safety or their children’s or grandchildren’s well-being.
This is a time for deep listening.
You will be invited to emphasize listening over talking. We desire that those who share will experience being listened to. Instead of forming what one thinks while the other is talking, we ask that you relinquish having to modify, dispute or “improve” what the other is saying.
We hope that our common life might be deepened and strengthened from this opportunity.
Please RSVP prior to Tuesday, March 17, to help with planning.
