Personnel updates
By John Bremond, Senior Warden
Fr Matthew Reese
In recognition for his excellent work and expanded portfolio of responsibilities, the Vestry has advanced Fr Matthew from Curate to Associate Rector.
Staff and volunteers alike are grateful to Fr Matthew for his thoughtful presence, collegiality, warm humor, and vast knowledge of church history and polity.
Please join the Vestry and me in thanking him for all does for Saint Philip’s.
Elizabeth Clark
I am pleased to announce that Beth Clark will join Saint Philip’s as the Associate for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries on June 1 (after her graduation from Virginia Theological Seminary). In addition to CYFM, Elizabeth will also focus on pastoral care.
Beth hails from Phoenix, and has an impressive background in education. She looks forward to joining Saint Philip’s team. More details will be shared closer to her start date.
Mtr Taylor Devine
Mtr Taylor has moved into her new part-time role to support newcomers and new parishioners.
She will meet with people, streamline the welcome process, and offer bi-annual Newcomer Orientations. The first of these will be 9:00am-12:30pm on Saturday, April 18. If you have become active in the parish in the past year or have related questions, please sign up for that orientation here.
If you are a newcomer and would like to schedule a time to meet with Mtr Taylor, please use the following link: Book time with me (please select Guest if you are not a Microsoft Office user).
