Stephen Ministry is recruiting people interested in joining the next training class, which will start in February. An information session for everyone interested will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday, January 31, in Saint Anne’s Center.

Over the last three years, 21 parishioners have been trained to serve as Stephen Ministers. They listen to people facing a life challenge or crisis, such as the death of a spouse, serious illness, unemployment, etc. Saint Philip’s Stephen Ministers have found this ministry deepens their own faith as much as it helps those in crisis.

All care is provided in complete confidentiality.

This is part of the national Stephen Ministry program, which has trained more than 500,000 Stephen Ministers in more than 200 different Christian denominations.
