Walk Out response

Last week, Interim Rector Richard Mallory invited all to join him in a nationwide protest called “Walk Out.”

At 1:45pm on Tuesday, January 20, 100+ Saint Philip’s parishioners and community members gathered in front of the church to pray for our nation and the escalating violence by the government.

At 2:00pm they walked out to the corner of River and Campbell for a period of non-violent presence in protest and public witness. Standing with signs, prayers, and shared intention, they joined others in protesting the ongoing violence and calling for a more compassionate response from our leaders.
