Make a difference

It’s November, and that means Christmas will soon be here. It’s a season children look forward to with excitement, but for a child with a parent in prison it can be an especially painful time.

To bring some joy during the Christmas season to children, Saint Philip’s continues its partnership with Project Angel Tree. This year, the Angel Tree Project has expanded to support 79 children, compared to 41 last year.

Through Angel Tree, you can give a child a Christmas gift on behalf of their mother or father in prison. For a family dealing with the pain of separation due to incarceration, this simple act of kindness can make a huge difference. Every Sunday throughout November, you’ll find volunteers outside of Saint Anne’s. They’ll be easy to find—just look for the big Christmas tree and table!
