Sunday recap
The Day of Discovery on Sunday, October 26, was attended by over 160 people, and feedback has been positive.

Parishioners sat at tables of eight (with at least a few people they didn’t know) and answered questions posed by Canon Anita Braden, who facilitated the day’s conversation. Some of those included:
*What has been your best experience about being a member of Saint Philip’s in the last 5 years?
*What do you value most about Saint Philip’s?
*What’s your best experience of worship?
*What are your three wishes for Saint Philip’s?
*What are the key attributes/skills/experiences you’d like in a new Rector?
Parishioners at each table identified their top three answers to each question. The answers were read aloud and posted on the wall.

Elizabeth Wood (Head of the Search Committee), Bonnie Winn (Junior Warden), and Renee Clift (Vestry member) volunteered as scribes and recorded what happened throughout the day. That report will help build the profile. Once that’s available it will be shared with the parish.
A spirited thank you to everyone who participated, and an extra dose of gratitude for volunteers who helped prepare the tables, assisted with the lunch buffet, and helped tear down the tables and chairs and cleaned the Murphey Gallery. Generosity in action!
