November’s exhibit

November’s exhibit will offer works by artists who belong to the Tucson Colored Pencil Artists’ Association. Their artwork will be on display through Sunday, November 30.

All are invited to the opening reception from 11:00am-1:30pm this Sunday, November 2, in the West Murphey Gallery. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the artists and speak with them about their inspiration, process, and techniques.

The Tucson Colored Pencil Artists’ Association was established in 1998 and ever since has met every Tuesday, except for holidays. Members meet to draw, discuss, share techniques and information.

One of the association’s main objectives is to educate art lovers and collectors of the validity of Colored Pencil as an art medium.

Though not affiliated with the national Colored Pencil Society of America, many of Tucson’s local group are members of that national organization and members of the State Chapter of CPSA.
