The tradition on Ingathering Sunday is to bring pledges forward at a designated point in the liturgy.

We are grateful to all of you who have already pledged for 2026. But there are many of you who are still thinking about it—or forgotten that Ingathering Sunday is this Sunday, November 2.

Why does timing matter? The Finance Committee meets in November to prepare a budget for 2026 to submit to the Vestry in December. Pledges help the Finance Committee know what income to expect so it can plan accordingly.
