Two formation options
This Wednesday, March 26, the Mosaic series will offer two options for formation. After dinner, pick the one that interests you most.
Option one: Confirmation preparation
All are welcome to join our confirmands in Saint Anne’s as they embark on a five-week program leading to their Confirmation. This is a wonderful opportunity to support them and learn alongside them.
Option two: Centering prayer
For those interested in exploring a contemplative practice, David and Cindy Chojnacky will offer the final of three centering prayer sessions in La Paz.
Centering prayer, a form of Christian meditation, allows for deep connection with God. In this week’s session, participants will dive into Logion 57 from The Gospel of Thomas, a gnostic text, with a brief interpretation by Jean-Yves Leloup.
It is a big help to the hospitality team to have a general headcount so they can ensure enough food for dinner. Please register if you plan to attend.
Mosaic is a weekly gathering on Wednesdays for fellowship, formation, and prayer. The community is made up of people from different backgrounds but everyone shares an interest in nourishing their relationship with God. It’s a wonderful way to meet people involved in different ministries at Saint Philip’s and learn about ways to be of service.
You are invited to participate in all events or just one:
5:15pm—Evening Prayer in the Chapel of the Nativity
6:00pm—Dinner in the Murphey Gallery
6:45pm-7:30pm—Discussion in Saint Anne’s Center
