Parking lot clean-up
“Come one, come all” to Saint Philip’s spring clean-up day, 8:30am-10:30am on Saturday, March 15. Please plan to meet near the solar panels.
You have probably noticed that the tree islands in the parking lot look a bit “weedy.” Volunteers of all ages are needed to help clean up and tidy these areas.
Pop over to the campus before you begin your weekend errands or after you finish. Help for 30 minutes, one hour, the entire time—whatever option suits your schedule.
This intergenerational community service event is a great way to bring Saint Philip’s church family together to help care for our beautiful church home.
If you would like to join in the fun and make a difference, please contact the Building & Grounds Committee chair, Emily Swartz at ehswartz@hotmail.com.
Please bring water and a hat. There will be plenty of tools for volunteers, but if you have gloves and garden tools, please bring what you can. Suggestions for tools to bring are: hand pruners, loppers, a shovel, a pick, and/or a rake.
