A rare Saint Philip’s offering

This Sunday, January 26, Saint Philip’s will be privileged to host jazz legend Jeff Haskell and his band along with the Choir of Saint Philip’s in a reprise of his jazz mass, Missa Dixie.

This work, which was written in the 90’s for Saint Philip’s, incorporates a variety of jazz styles. It will form the musical core of the 10:00am service, with mass Ordinaries and well-known hymns, such as “When the Saints go Marching In” and “Old Rugged Cross.”
