‘Cooling our Neighborhood’ update
Saint Philip’s volunteers recently completed a community project, “Cooling Our Neighborhood,” at Prince Elementary School. This initiative enhanced the school’s outdoor environment by planting shade trees, drought-tolerant cacti, and other native plants.
The project was a collaborative effort involving church volunteers, school staff, and community partners. Together, they transformed the school grounds into a more beautiful and sustainable space.
The students and staff at Prince Elementary School expressed their gratitude through heartfelt thank-you notes, sharing their appreciation for the volunteers’ efforts.
