Brigid Waszczak

Before becoming a deacon, Brigid was a teacher, public relations/marketing professional, fund-raiser, and spiritual director.

Writing for Daily Bread arose from a 50+ year practice of contemplating scripture prior to reading at Sunday services. Now she writes her reflections, lifting up familiar voices and ideas from scripture in new ways, to share with Daily Bread readers. She says that sharing them is both terrifying and satisfying.

Brigid believes that we never “arrive” on our spiritual journeys. There is always more to learn and to be curious about; there is always room to grow. Brigid is currently studying Process Theology which she credits with expanding her relationship with God.
