Dear Friend,
I imagine I am not alone in my desire for short, tangible prayers that can help me to pray in the in-between times that look so different in this season. I have enjoyed following an online account called @liturgiesforparents that offer just that. This not-parent needs breathing space and new moments of prayer too! Here is an example of these lovely prayers:

One could follow the same pattern with one of the Psalms of the day, for today:

O Lord, in your mercy,
preserve me.

or
My eyes are open in the night watches,
that I may meditate upon your promise.

Do you have a prayer that has become like breath to you? One that comes naturally in moments of stress or perhaps of stillness? May the Spirit of God who is as close as our breath bring your comfort and strength this day.

In Christ,
Mtr Taylor
