General Convention

By The Rt Rev’d Jennifer A. Reddall, sixth bishop of Arizona

The 81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church kicks off officially on Sunday evening, June 23—but our deputation will arrive early for a series of critical pre-convention events.

I ask your prayers for myself and our Deputies:

The Rev’d Canon John Kitagawa; The Rev’d Canon Anita Braden; The Rev’d Canon David Benedict Hedges, BSG; The Rev’d Hunter Ruffin; Canon Judith Conley; Canon Dr. Dawn Conley; Dan Packard; Canon Clyde Kunz; and The Rev’d Canon Dr. Robin Hollis (Clergy Alternate) and Cody Bro (Lay Alternate).

There are also members of the Episcopal Church Women and Daughters of the King from Arizona and around the Episcopal Church who are attending concurrent events in Louisville.

If you are interested in worshiping online with the General Convention, services should be available online at the General Convention Media Hub. Other information about legislation and elections will be at www.generalconvention.org.

The election of the next Presiding Bishop will take place on Wednesday, June 26.
