The woodshop

Do you know that Saint Philip’s has a woodshop? Volunteers have helped maintain and refurbish a wide variety of items both inside the church and out. (A recent donation of tools helps the cause. Click here for that story.)

The Garden Columbarium was built in the 1980s and a wooden door with a cross was at the entrance for many years. The door needed to be replaced and volunteers have brought the cross back to life.

Other projects have included rebuilding the pulpit, building the tabernacle stand and tables behind the altar, making a useful usher table with wheels, and a bookshelf for the organist.

Thank you to everyone who donates their materials, tools, talent, and time!
