Leadership visit

The Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross look forward to welcoming Jackie Schmitt, the elected head of all 700 Companions. Saint Philip’s will host the gathering at 10:00am in the Murphey Gallery on Saturday, February 17, and all the women of Saint Philip’s are invited to attend.

Jackie will discuss the strengths of the Companions and also some challenges the organization faces. This is a wonderful chance for women to learn about the Companions first-hand and to ask questions of the organization’s head.

A free catered lunch from Baggin’s will follow the meeting. Please RSVP to Sharon Bigot at aebskfb@comcast.net.

Who are the Companions of the Holy Cross?  They are women committed to prayer, spiritual growth, and are part of a welcoming faith community of Christian women from all walks of life.

Members are young—and older. They are reverent—and sometimes a little irreverent. They are lively. What they all have in common is a commitment to God to support each other through prayer, service, outreach, spiritual growth, fellowship, and simplicity of life.
