Snug Safe

In last week’s Diocesan e-pistle, an article introduced “Snug Safe,” an app that offers free daily check-ins for seniors who live alone. The app is compatible with smartphones and allows the user to determine the time of check-in, the frequency, and a host of other preferences.

A retired nurse thought of Snug Safe because she lived alone with a heart condition. She also didn’t like the clumsy appearance of Life Alert pendants and wanted something more discreet.

More information is available on the app’s website.
