Congratulations

Theo Moyse-Peck has worshiped at Saint Philip’s since last fall and has been involved since then as a substitute formation leader with the senior youth. She also regularly attends Wednesday Mosaic gatherings.

Her involvement with the broader church included serving on the Episcopal Church’s UN delegation to last year’s commission on the status of women.

Theo moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona. She speaks often about how this parish community has filled the void created by leaving her family in Pennsylvania.

This past weekend, Theo was inducted into the very prestigious academic honors society, Phi Beta Kappa. PBK members include U.S. Presidents, Nobel laureates, and Supreme Court justices. Congratulations, Theo, on your superb accomplishment!

Theo will leave Tucson soon to intern in Washington, DC where she will specialize in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies. Theo has spent years learning Arabic and hopes to continue studying it.

Theo will be missed by the Saint Philip’s community, and we wish her all the best in her next adventure!
