This Sunday’s question

The small group discussion topic at 10:30am this Sunday, March 26, anticipates Palm Sunday and will be “The crucifixion of Jesus” facilitated by Dcn Tom Lindell.

Deacon Tom Lindell

If you plan on attending the discussion, please watch the short video below that introduces the concept that will be discussed on Sunday morning.

The main questions for discussion will be:

We have heard it said that the fate of Jesus of Nazareth was foretold via the scriptures and the prophets.

1.     Do you believe that Jesus’ death by crucifixion was the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy?

2.     Is it essential for you to make that connection?

The session is scheduled to last 30 minutes so that people may attend the 11:15am worship service. However, Dcn Tom will remain in La Paz beyond 11:00am so the discussion can continue for those who wish to explore the topic further.

The group discussions will be in-person only as there is a weekly Zoom Bible Study offered at 10:00am on Tuesdays.

These gatherings are intended to be discussions—not debates. The focus is not to master any particular text but, rather, to engage it and consider how God speaks to us through the Bible narrative.
