Vision accomplished
For the last month, parishioners Erika Johnson and Emily Swartz led a group of volunteers and transformed the office building entrance area. The group achieved both of its goals:
Create basins to capture rainfall that comes off the roof and
Select plants that provide support for local pollinators—especially hummingbirds—and are low maintenance (which means less pruning is required)
A spirited thank you to Carianne Funicelli of Strategic Habitat Enhancements for her help recommending plants, and procuring, delivering, and staging them.
