Food and fellowship

Saint Philip’s looks forward to welcoming everyone to “First Sunday breakfast” on Sunday, March 5. Breakfast will be served 7:45am-9:00am.

Suggested donation
The suggested donation for adults is $10.00 but be reduced to $7.00 if a canned good* is brought to support Saint Philip’s food pantry. Children under 12 will eat for free.

Sponsorhips
No one will be turned away for lack of a donation. If you would like to make an additional, anonymous donation for someone, please speak with Mtr Mary on Sunday morning. Conversely, if you know of someone for whom a sponsored breakfast would be helpful, have them speak with Mtr Mary, as well.

Menu
The menu will include fresh fruit compote, plain yogurt, granola, pan seared sausage patties, breakfast potato home fries, French toast (with cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, and butter), assorted pastries, and coffee and juice.

Door prize
At 8:30am there will be a drawing. One lucky person will win a $25.00 gift card to Zinburger restaurant in Joesler Village (across from Saint Philip’s church).

Volunteer
If you would like to help facilitate this event, please contact parishioner (and Vestry member) Roger Rainbolt. He can be reached at 520-638-7166.

*Saint Philip’s food pantry needs canned meat, canned fruit, and peanut butter (in non-glass containers). Please be sure to check expiration dates of any donations. Thank you!
